The answer is longer than the question!

How much is a difficult question. It isn't like wages in the States, overseas you get a monthly "Uplift" to your wages. So let's say you were a Truck Driver in Iraq; your uplift will be higher than in Afghanistan as you spend little or no time outside the wire getting shot at. The same applies to Heavy Equipment and construction. What kind of equipment? A driver of a 30 k Terex is going to make a higher uplift then a Labor Forman who watches TCN's pick up trash. As a Heavy Truck Driver I made about $3,100 a month for my uplift, but with wages included I was making and average of $7,500-$8,000 a month. As a Convoy Commander I made the most I ever did at $10,100 for 1 month and almost that the next month. So you see, the variable are so great, it's tough to say "How much" till you see your first check.... Unless you are a TCN from Dirka Dirkastan, then it's easy.... Less than $900.00.... Yeah, Nine Hundred Dollars a month! You do not want to be one of these guy's. There is not a word to describe there conditions. Sad.

Good luck.
