I am 47 yrs young.I have been in construction my entire working life {33 yrs} I am a commercial sheetrocker/ metal stud framer, for the last 7 yrs I have been a construction superintendent/project manager.I am in great physical condition and I am hungry ,since the economy went to hell here in the U.S. I cannot find a job making the kind of money that I need to make to stay a float. I need to go to work in Afghanistan,Iraq, Kuwait,etc,in order to support my wife and kids. I need the opportunity to make good money I am skilled in several areas of construction but not limited to the one field I am also a good gasoline mechanic on auto's and small engines, I am open for anything. I am fully capable, willing, and ready to work my ass off. I have ran several construction sites and crews, I have excellent references. Can you PLEASE help me to locate a direct contact not just another dead end.
Thank You

Direct contacts are very few and far between, as they seem to change their numbers and Emails when a flood of potential employees start calling and writing.
Construction positions are plentiful, but the companies still have the required line to stand in.
After application some jobs may be in limbo for a year or more, that is why it's important to keep looking and continue the application process. When you submit a Resume to a site, be sure the site has been verified, as some groups have been trying to redirect potential employees to fake sites and others have just been trying to hack personal information.
Companies like Dyncorp have a ton of Linguistics jobs, but when you put in "Construction" for the search you get this;

Jobs Available
Page 1 of 1
Job Title Location Apply Now
Generator Mechanic Kabul,

If you do not find the appropriate job of interest, you may submit a resume for general consideration.

But when you put in "Mechanic" you get this;

Job Title Location Apply Now
Generator Mechanic Kabul,
Fire Truck Mechanic Udairi Army Airfield, Kuwait
A&P Mechanic Tikrit, Iraq
A&P Mechanic Balad, Iraq

My point is; Dyncorp is not where you would expect to find a position for "Generator Mechanic", yet, there they are. Companies such as ITT, Fluor, and KBR have always advertised for Mechanics, Drivers and Construction which means they have about 1/2 a million applications to go through to fill 100 positions, your desperation isn't going to make them chose faster, so, take the path least followed, go to the companies you would never expect needs your skills and apply. You may be surprised.
Good Luck.
