Contracts for medical jobs in Afghanistan

by Yves Faucher
(Westmeath, Ontario,CDN)

I am a Physician Assistant retired from the Canadian Forces and I heard that you are looking for different positions for jobs.

I have my Air-Med-Evac course and many mores, I been deployed at the front lines quite often, in charge of medical emergency, combat mission and many more.

I am interested in working contracts for a firm like yours, if you have any positions available that would use all assets I can provide to you I would like to hear about them.

Thank you in advance,

Not too old yet!
by: Carys

Hi, I am a state registered paramedic in the u.k. I will be retiring from this job soon but still have the energy and enthusiasm to do something else, but I don't want to carry on working for the NHS in this role. Is there anyone who has contacts for working in Afghanistan or other such places,
Regards,
Carys

I don't know where you been...!

Hi back...!

Like I said, first I have worked in emergency room, trauma centers, but most of my career was with the boys at the front, they sent me at every times there was a new something going bad in some faraway lands.

I don't know about you but I don't dispence "CEPOCOL LOzANGES"....! they sent me to work with the best where the meat goes in the grinder, I had always provided the best of everything because the boys deserve the best and in my book you did not studied to disence band-aid you know what I mean...!

They need people that can evaluate and take charge if the shit hit the fan...! So if they want the best and no "YES MAN" they can contact me and if they juges that my stuff is not worth it than they are probably dealing with a bunch of "CIVILIANS" that want to be doctors but are afraid to act or just don't have what it take and you know eventually the boys upfront knows better then to go see those people.

I am proud of what I did and the people I trained.

Medic.
by: Doc

Dear Yves,
I worked with several men from Canada when I was in Iraq, I used to tell them I was from the "Free Canadian Province of Northern Minnesota".... They never laughed either.
Companies such as ITT, Fluor and KBR hire Company Medics, I've posted comments on the board concerning this issue.
Military experience is good on a Resume, however, your hiring will depend on the Civilian Courses you've taken or those Military which are recognized by the Civilian Authorities.
My first hand experience regarding our Company Medics,.... You could stagger into the Medics Office with your freshly amputated arm, gushing blood and they would give you a bandaid, tell you to drink more water then write you up for failing to follow safety procedures. We didn't have a lot of time for our Medics.
But you might be the one to change all of that.
Give it a shot and Good Luck.
