Emt employment in Canada

I am an Irish citizen qualified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). I am interested in working in canada and I know that I first have to apply for a visa. The main questions that I have are:

How long does it take after applying to recieve a visa?

Is there work in canada for EMT's?

Is my irish certificate actable to obtain work in Canada as an EMT?
OR
Do I have to resit a canadin exam to maintain my EMT Licence in Canada?

Do I have to resit my car/bus/truck licence to be in a position to apply for work?

Are the driving licences compulsary?

is there anything else I should be aware of before applying for an EMT position in Canada?

Which County/ City would you recommend on being best/ safest for a family to immigrate to, to maintain this work?


I appreciate all the help and support in which you have given me by answering some off my questions. I know that there is a lot to answer so id like to thank you for all your help
