Felony conviction

Just released from prison,am I allowed to work overseas.If so who do I contact.After getting out of the Marine Corp in 1986 I've spent the last twenty plus years working in the commercial concrete side of construction,until I went to prison.I would appreciate some feedback on this issue,where do I stand with employment opportunities. Thank you.
