Jobs in the Middle East and elsewhere are advertised by specific terms, for instance, if you go to ITT's web site:
http://sh.webhire.com/Public/591/
.. and type in "Construction" there will be about 50 hits, ranging from the following-
Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Intl - Iraq, Baghdad
Req Number: SD-PA-AFCAP183-16219
- To "Civil Engineer", "Planner Estimator",
"Public Works Manager" to "Director of Public Works".
In many cases, you will have to go directly to the site and do a search for yourself and whittle down the the jobs you are not qualified for. Don't be surprised, however, if the title for a job sounds too high above your pay scale to be eligible, only to find out you are. Jobs such as "Labor Foreman", may just mean you will be in charge of 10 local kids picking up garbage. You need to read the job description then decide for yourself if your qualified.
Many Companies who have been awarded contracts under "Logcap" have news releases which describe the type of work that will be done and hint at what positions will be opening, you need to look these up and go to those sites.
ITT, Fluor, Dyncorp, KBR, are some of the companies to check but not the only ones.
These companies have so many applications they really don't advertise for positions, you need to search them out.
