pending dwi

I recently stopped and arrested on a dwi charge the charge is pending and will be for a while ( I pleaded innocent because I was) will this prevent me from getting a interim clearance or stop me from giong over seas for work.

Sorry to say,.... Yep.
Untill you can get it resolved, you will not be able to be cleared by Security.
Case in point; An E-6 is stopped and given a DUI, and E-5 is Court Martialed, who can get a Secret clearance? The E-5 depending on the Court Martial circumstances. It's bizarre but true.
Reason; A court martial doesn't mean you were guilty, it just means you couldn't prove you were innocent.
