qualified britsh IT consultant

Guys

I am a 42 year old experienced IT consultant looking for work in the Middle East, preferably Afghanistan.

Can you please tell me what I need to get clearance and this type of work, I can do anything form help desk to 3rd level support as well as systems management.

Many years ago I used to fix the computers on the US air force bases in the UK, so I must have some clearance somewhere.

I would be grateful for any feedback or job sites that may be looking for someone with my skills.

Kind regards

Martin

Many U.S. based companies have a "U.S.N." disclaimer (U.S. National), however, I've worked with persons while in Iraq from all over the U.K., so I would apply then deal with it afterwards. The following are a few sites with Adverts for I.T. positions;
http://kbr.myvurv.com/main/careerportal/job_list.cfm?szSearchType=Advanced&szCategory=59
37547 IT Network Tech, II Iraq IQ Communications

http://sh.webhire.com/servlet/av/search
Computer Technician (Help Desk) ITT Systems Corporation Qatar 03-02-10

You will need to go to these sites and search them for yourself. Be sure of all sites you may be directed to, including those I may supply as there are many scams in progress. When filling out an application profile it is essencial that you are sure of the site as you will be providing personal info.
Also check with Dyncorp, Fluor, or any company with a "Logcap" contract.
Good luck.
