Where are you looking?
by: Doc

If you search sites such as Dyncorp you'll probably find a boat load of jobs geared towards the Aerospace field with a smattering of linguistics and security.
If you are looking for something more Earth bound like Construction, Air Conditioning, Truck Driver, Food Service, Human Relations, Laborer Foreman, etc.... Dyncorp may have them, but you'll bet they require you to be a Rocket Scientist first. This begs the question; "Where are you looking"?
Many of the post's at this web site have been responded to with job openings, web site info and even a few phone numbers, so the information is there to be found.
Not knowing what your qualifications are here's some quick tips;
Find companies which have been awarded contracts under "Logcap".
Companies with an established presence with Logcap such as KBR, ITT, Fluor, Dyncorp, etc.
Here are some web site for careers with these companies;
Fluor,
http://www.fluor.com/career_opportunities.htm
ITT.
http://www.ittsystems.com/
"Press" Click to view job opportunities.
"Then press" International Careers.
"Then in the middle of the page at the bottom paragragh press" Online Job Search.
The keyword for a position is up to you.
KBR,
http://kbr.myvurv.com/main/careerportal/default.cfm?szUniqueCareerPortalID=057e9a2d-08b4-47cd-b561-05189a27d3e0&szIsJobBoard=0
"Click" Jobs by category.
Wages are Job/Location dependant.
You can expect 12 hour days, 7 days a week for about 3-4 months with Leave consisting of 8 paid days off and up to (In certain cases) 21 days total.
Good luck.
