Jake,
First of all, many of us who served in the 101st would like to say thank you for the job your doing, we're there with you.
Second, those of us who got out of the service who did not stick it out till retirement would like to say..... I could have retired and been working another job years ago. Nobody could talk me out of quitting the service, again, we know what your going through, but it's got to be your choice.
If you do choose to go private sector talk with the Black water guys your working with. Some of them are Prima Donnas (In An Bar we had one of their short convoy's charge towards our convoy ignoring all hand arm signals and the lead had to bust a couple of rounds from a Ma Duce across their hoods before they stopped) and know about 1/2 of what they pretend, but they also have a few guys who are on the ball, try to get a lock on a job before you bale.
Infantry is a very job specific position and you may want to stick with training and security.
Triple Canopy and Dyncorp have security position and would be my first call. Ranger training will be a definate edge.
Good luck.
